Mary-Elizabeth Brown, Marion Miller and Adrian Wright fell in love — musically speaking — on the chamber players' equivalent of a blind date.

The violinist, pianist and cellist have appeared with renowned orchestras and solo artists on both sides of the Atlantic, but had never performed with each other until brought together as a pickup threesome for one of a series of summer concerts at Aeolian Hall. After one rehearsal their musical instincts felt so in tune that they wanted to keep playing together as a permanent trio. What to call themselves was obvious.

On Sunday, February 12, The Aeolian Trio returns to the hall, this time with Alexander Borodin's Sonata for cello and piano, Johannes Brahms' Trio No. 1, and Camille Saint-Saëns' Trio No. 3.
