Melissa Lundy

Melissa Lundy is a local London artist, “Old Friend” is the follow up album to her 2010 release “My Brown Scarf”.  This album brings a whole new dynamic to Melissa’s acoustic style music with a full backing band on the album as well as the live show.  Melissa has been performing since 2010 at various venues, bringing a unique style and sound throughout her music.  Old Friend was produced, mixed and engineered by Simon Larochette at the Sugar Shack in London, Ontario.  This album has many instruments adding to the already unique sound Melissa brings to her music including violin, cello and pedal steel.  

Melissa’s songs are fun, and positive and playful with tracks like “Sid and Nancy” and “Run Little River”, but there is also some more serious and heart felt such as “Fallen” and “Silhouette”.  This album will have you laughing and smiling one minute and deep in thought and reflection the next.  Old Friend will be available in June at select record stores, and at the show.
