Share The Man: The Music Of Jack Richardson
Fanshawe College Music Industry Arts students, with the assistance of their professors Terry McManus, Steve Malison and Mike Roth, are working to put together a special evening celebrating the legacy of the late Jack Richardson, Canadian music icon and Fanshawe College professor.
"Share The Man: The Music Of Jack Richardson" will take place February 8th, 2012 at The Aeolian Hall in London. The show will feature Music Industry Arts students and special guests playing songs produced by Jack. All proceeds will go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Jack, well-known for his work with The Guess Who and other musicians, was also a major factor in the development and success of the College’s Music Industry Arts program.
"For all of his great accomplishments, Jack was a very modest man, but I am sure he would have been honoured that the students of Fanshawe College have chosen to pay tribute to him in this unique way,” said Music Industry Arts professor Terry McManus. “Music was not just close to his heart, it was his life and so this evening of special songs that Jack produced will capture his spirit in a way that will make it feel as if he were still with us. We could only wish."
